The Reston, Virginia-based government services contractor said Wednesday its total backlog as of June 30 increased 12 percent from the previous year’s figure of $21.6 billion and its funded backlog grew 18 percent from a year ago.
CACI reported $3.6 billion in contract awards during the fourth quarter of FY 2021, with about 40 percent accounting for new business.
Contracts secured by CACI during the quarter include a potential $447 million contract with the National Security Agency for network security and signals intelligence support and a $373 million contract with U.S. Special Operations Command for geospatial intelligence analysis services.
For the full year, CACI recorded $9.2 billion in contract awards with $457.4 million in FY 2021 net income and diluted earnings per share of $18.30.
Defense News reported that CACI forecast that the U.S. military’s tech modernization investments would offset future losses from the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, projecting a sales growth of 4 percent.
