CACI to Continue Army Cybersecurity Support Under $82M Contract; John Mengucci Quoted

CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has secured a potential $82 million contract to help the U.S. Army secure electronic countermeasures and explosive ordnance disposal systems.

Under the four-year contract, the company will develop cybersecurity platforms for the Army’s EOD ECM systems and provide vulnerability inspection support services to the branch, CACI said Thursday.

The information technology contractor will also run tests for the branch to determine whether military command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems are compatible with electronic warfare or tactical communications equipment.

John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient, said the company will work to help the Army secure critical systems and make decisions on the battlefield faster using software-based tools.

The Army’s C5ISR Center Electronic Warfare Air/Ground Survivability Division awarded the contract.
