The companies will compete for task orders in the Cloud Service Provider section of the multiple-award IDIQ vehicle for infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, software-as-a-service and other products, as well as professional services in support of the 17 intelligence community agencies.
C2E, a follow-on to Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) cloud procurement contract held by AWS, will have a 15-year period of performance and will be worth “tens of billions” of dollars, according to the agency’s 2019 contracting data.
The Washington Business Journal reported that the agency did not reveal the actual value of the contract or the total number of awardees, but it expects the program to offer a wide range of cloud computing tools that would support IC workload up to the Top Secret level.
WBJ noted the program also includes a separate contract for cloud integration and multicloud management services.
