Marquez previously served as director of space policy at the White House National Security Council under the administrations of President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. He held leadership roles at Planetary Resources and Orbital Sciences, which now operates as part of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC). He also served as a space adviser for Netflix’s comedy series Space Force.
