ASRC Federal Data Solutions, an ASRC Federal subsidiary, has been awarded the five-year, $330 million Ames Consolidated Information Technology Services (ACITS) 4 contract by NASA to provide comprehensive information technology services, the company announced Thursday.
"Our highly qualified team recognizes the importance of supporting the center’s IT infrastructure, maintaining daily operations and providing platforms for future innovations,” said Jennifer Felix, ASRC Federal president and CEO.
Under the contract, ASRC Federal Data Solutions will provide governance support for cloud computing, security, network and communications systems, application management, scientific computing systems, innovation and emerging technologies to NASA’s center in Moffett Field, Calif.
NASA’s Ames Research Center has conducted critical research and development and developed emerging technologies to support the agency’s. The center has been designated as a leader in information technology research with a focus on supercomputing, networking and intelligent systems.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with NASA Ames and delivering solutions that support the center’s research and development efforts, enabling NASA missions,” Felix added.
