The U.S. Navy has selected 25 companies for a potential 11-year, $7.14B contract to perform full-rate production of aircraft components and aviation systems for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.
Contractors may compete for orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covering three lots of FRP activities with designated vendor pools, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Lot 1 centers on producing mission-specific avionics while lots 2 and 3 will involve manufacuring and installing aircraft parts and modification kits.
NAWCAD received 38 offers for the IDIQ through an electronic solicitation process.
Contract work is slated to take place at contractor and government facilities through April 2031.
