Nine companies have won spots on a potential eight-year, $249M contract to provide technical support services for the U.S. Navy’s networks and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award has a base value of $56.3M over a two-year period and a pair of three-year option periods that would extend work through Jan. 28, 2028, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Contractors will compete for task orders encompassing maintenance and engineering assistance, project management, technical integration, administrative support and logistics work.
The Navy received 18 offers for the multiple-award IDIQ via the internet and will obligate funds with each order.
Fifty percent of contract work will take place within the continental U.S. and the remaining 50 percent will occur outside the contiguous U.S., with focus on the Indo-Asia-Pacific area and Navy Region Southwest.
The Pentagon expects contract services to conclude by Jan. 28, 2022.
