UNCOMN Secures $176M Transcom IDIQ for IT Engineering Services

UNCOMN, a technology consulting firm based in Norfolk, Va., has landed a five-year, $175.7M contract to perform data, enterprise architecture and information technology engineering services for the the U.S. Transportation Command, the Air Mobility Command and the Surface Deployment and Distribution Center.

Transcom obligated funding from fiscal year 2020 transportation working capital funds for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday. Subsequent task orders may be funded by research, development, test and evaluation funds.

Work will take place at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. DoD expects contract work to conclude by Dec. 5, 2024.

The company is slated to work with Boeing™s (NYSE: BA) Tapestry Solutions company and Jasper Solutions to update and sustain a logistics software application designed for military load planning automation.
