Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will supply the U.S. Navy and the Kuwaiti government with systems designed to help aircraft maintainers test avionic components under a three-year, $92.2M contract modification.
The company™s rotary and mission systems business will provide 32 electronic Consolidated Automated Support Systems to the Navy and another two eCASS units to Kuwait, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The modification represents an option under a contract awarded in July 2018 and includes the delivery of associated eCASS equipment such as ship and shore installation kits, calibration tools and operational test program sets.
Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division will obligate the modification™s full amount at the time of award using fiscal 2018, 2019 and 2020 Navy aircraft procurement and foreign military sales funds.
Work under the exercised option will take place in Orlando through December 2022.
