AECOM’s (NYSE: ACM) URS subsidiary, Jacobs Engineering Group‘s (NYSE: JEC) CH2M business, KBR and Environmental Chemical Corp. have been awarded an $80M contract modification for global contingency construction services.
The modification increases the potential value of the original indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to $966M and covers construction and engineering services to support humanitarian assistance missions encompassing natural disasters, conflict and similar occurrences, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The Navy issued an $86M modification in late 2018 under the initial $800M IDIQ the service branch awarded in June 2013.
Contractors may be tasked to provide initial base support services as part of the award.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic will obligate funds upon issuance of each modification to existing task orders.
