Systems Planning and Analysis has purchased Veracity Forecasting and Analysis for an undisclosed sum in a move to further operations analysis support for national defense and security platforms.
Alexandria, Va.-based Veracity creates decision support tools for government clients using operations research, predictive analytics, modeling, simulation and data science methods, SPA said Monday.
SPA CEO William Vantine said the company seeks to expand technical offerings in the data science and software development areas through the acquisition.
