VT Systems™ subsidiaries will also adopt the new enterprise name and brand as part of the move, which came two months after VT Halter Marine secured a potential $1.94B contract to design and build up to three heavy polar icebreakers, Polar Security Cutter, for the U.S. Coast Guard.
Alexandria, Va.-based VT Systems is a subsidiary of Singapore-based ST Engineering and operates with approximately 5,000 employees and 15 operating units providing weapons and munitions systems, ship design and construction, network systems and aircraft maintenance and repair services to government and commercial clients across various market segments.
