Chris Raymond
Chris Raymond, who most recently served as vice president and general manager of autonomous systems at Boeing™s (NYSE: BA) defense, space and security business, has been appointed VP for enterprise strategy at the Chicago-based company, Reuters reported Wednesday.
He reports to the company™s finance, enterprise performance and strategy office led by Chief Financial Officer Greg Smith, according to his biography on the company website.
In his new role, Raymond oversees the entire strategy function for long-term planning and performance, including market analysis and intelligence in support of growth opportunities, as well as the company™s HorizonX venture capital arm.
He was tapped in 2018 to lead the integration of Embraer™s engineering operations and products with those of Boeing as part of a strategic partnership and has held senior leadership roles at Boeing, including VP of global business development and strategy for BDS.
Raymond has served on the boards of the National Defense Industrial Association and Defense Acquisition University and is an associate fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
