Arlington Capital Partners has formed a new company after the Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm completed its purchase of Triumph Groups (NYSE: TGI) forming and fabrication facilities.
Radius Aerospace will run as an independent company and be led by Tony Johnson as CEO, Arlington Capital said Monday.
Johnson, who will also serve on Arlington Capitals board of directors, will be joined in Radius’ management team by Bill Boyd, chief operations officer, and Tim Lohrenz, chief financial officer.

Hot Springs, Ark.-based Radius Aerospace provides fabrications, metal bonding and other forming capabilities as well as vertically integrated products to original equipment manufacturers and tier 1 aerospace and defense clients.
