Sevenson Environmental Services has won a potential five-year, $99M contract from the U.S. Army to perform remediation work at the Raymark Superfund Site located in Stratford, Conn.
The Army Corps of Engineers received eight bids for the firm-fixed-price contract and will determine locations and funds with each order, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The site contains waste and contaminants accumulated from automotive parts manufacturing operations done by Raymark Industries along the Housatonic River estuary until 1989.
DoD estimates that contract work will conclude by March 15, 2024.
