Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) reported its third quarter 2011 financial results July 22.
The company reported net income of $158 million, an 11 percent increase from the $142 million it generated in the third quarter of 2010.
Rockwell saw earnings per share increase 13 percent to $1.01 from $0.89 over that period.
Its government airborne solutions sales were $488 million, a six percent increase year-over-year.
Overall government systems sales fell 11 percent from the third quarter of 2010 as surface solutions sales fell 39 percent to $180 million.
