Fourteen companies will vie for up to $41.4M in task orders to transport air cargo for U.S. Transportation Command as part of option year 1 modifications under an indefinite–delivery/indefinite–quantity contract.
Work is scheduled to commence on Feb. 1 and will continue through Jan. 31, 2020, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Services will include time-definite, door-to-door pick-up and delivery, authorized third-party payment system participation and customs processing and clearance of less than full planeloads for regular recurring cargo shipments.
