Syncharpha Capital Chooses Siemens for Solar Power Plant Project

Syncharpha Capital has selected Siemens Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SI) to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for a 3-megawatt-peak, ground-based solar power plant in Eastampton, N.J. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2011 and the plant is scheduled to go online in September 2011.

Syncharpha Capital invests in alternative energies and has a private equity fund focused on solar projects. It will finance the solar power plant.
