Steve Hoffman
Steve Hoffman, former area vice president at Micro Focus‘ government solutions business, has joined information technology provider Govplace as vice president of sales.
Reston, Virginia-based Govplace said Wednesday Hoffman will lead the company’s go-to-market sales strategy and serve on the executive team.
He will report directly to CEO Adam Robinson.
In his previous role, Hoffman built and led Micro Focus’ federal sales organization focused on cybersecurity technology products.
The 28-year technology sales veteran also worked at Palo Alto Networks as region VP for federal business and at Hewlett-Packard as enterprise security director for Defense Department and intelligence community accounts.
He oversaw Cisco‘s (Nasdaq: CSCO) engagement with civilian agencies in his previous VP role at the company.
