ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has received a potential multiyear, $816 million contract to help the State Department implement physical and electronic security meant to safeguard U.S. diplomatic personnel worldwide.
The company said Monday it will provide 24-hour technical security services to the department’s domestic and overseas operations under the contract.
“We are eager to support the Office of Security Technology in order to meet the needs of Diplomatic Security and protect personnel life safety and security while keeping pace with new and evolving threats,” said Dan Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission solutions and services group.
ManTech aims to help ensure the safety of U.S. government employees and other personnel who work at State Department facilities that include 275 posts located outside the country.
