The U.S. Navy has awarded spots on a potential five-year, $99 million contract to five companies for repair and maintenance of the service branch’s naval communications towers and adjacent support facilities.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday task orders under the multiple-award contract may cover design; engineering analysis; plan and specification preparation; equipment fabrication, construction and refurbishment; and structure coating services.
The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center received nine proposals for the indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal.
