A Textron Systems (NYSE: TXT) subsidiary and a General Atomics business unit have won spots on a potential eight-year, $499 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force research and develop aerospace vehicle platforms for warfighters.
AAI Corp. and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems will perform work at their respective facilities in Maryland and California through Aug. 31, 2025, in support of the Aerospace Systems Air Platform Technology Research program, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
