CGIs (NYSE: GIB) federal business, Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) have won spots on a Social Security Administration contract to provide information technology services.
A FedBizOpps notice published Monday says the potential 10-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers IT services for SSAs office of the deputy commissioner for systems in support of data systems administrative, programmatic and management requirements.
The contract for Leidos was originally chased by and awarded to the Gaithersburg, Maryland-based information systems and global solutions business the company acquired from Lockheed last year.
Awardees and contract details are listed below:
CGI Federal will compete for task orders worth up to $2.4 billion
Leidos will compete for task orders worth up to $2.31 billion
Northrop will compete for task orders worth up to $3.08 billion
Work will encompass technical support, IT personnel and other resources across several areas: lifecycle activities for web design and software improvement; systems security and administration support; database and data administration; and software engineering and management assistance, according to the statement of work.
The ordering period for the contract that includes options will run through Sept. 28, 2026.
SSA will obligate $500,000 to each contractor as a minimum guarantee at the time of award, according to the solicitation.
