The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded seven companies positions on a potential five-year, $115 million contract that covers information technology support services to EPAs environmental information, national program, administrative, field and regional offices.
EPA said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday the awardees under the IT Solutions-Business Information Strategic Support III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract are:

CSRAs (NYSE: CSRA) SRA International subsidiary
Grant Thornton
IBM (NYSE: IBM)
Project Performance Co.
The ITS-BISS III multiple-award contract covers two functional areas that include integrated program support services as well as independent assessments and support services intended to help EPA comply with federal policies on IT and information management such as the Clinger Cohen Act, Federal Information Security Management Act and circulars from the Office of Management and Budget.
FA1 covers information security, planning, IT and enterprise architecture, investment management, project management, training, communication support, human capital management and other IT support task orders worth $115 million combined.
FA2 is a potential $25 million set-aside program for small businesses and includes acquisition management support, system analysis and independent evaluation services such as independent verification and validation support and risk assessment services.
Work under the ITS-BISS III contract vehicle will occur in Washington, D.C., Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and in other regional and field offices of EPA.
