According to the Department of Defense, “BAE Systems is being awarded a $17, 285, 819 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0019) to exercise an option for the Low Rate Initial Production I of 600 Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System guidance sections for the Navy, including shipping and storage containers. Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in November 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.”
