Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a potential $122.8 million delivery order by the Defense Logistics Agency to supply aircraft spare parts to the U.S. Navy.
The order falls under a previously awarded contract that contains a five-year base period along with one five-year option and work is scheduled to occur through Dec. 30, 2020, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The Navy will finance the latest order with its working capital funds for fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2020.
DLA also ordered $984.3 million in spare parts for the service branch’s F/A-18 multirole fighter planes in August last year.
