Engility (NYSE: EGL) has received a potential five-year, $119 million contract to support a national-level logistics enterprise resource planning system used at various U.S. Army and Defense Department facilities.
The company said Wednesday it will provide subject matter expertise, administrative support, program and product management and technical services to the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program.
Engility CEO Lynn Dugle, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, said the program works to ensure that warfighters have access to logistics and operations technologies that support mission readiness.
The LMP system is built to support more than 30,000 Army and DoD users and is connected to more than 80 systems across the department.
Engility will also provide new tools to automate, simplify and optimize the LMP system as well as help integrate the logistics ERP platform.
The contract contains a three-year base period and a two-year option.
