9 Companies Win Spots on $249M Army Healthcare Facility Design-Build Contract

The U.S. Army has selected nine companies to compete for task orders to design and build healthcare facilities for the Army Medical Command under a potential three-year, $249 million contract.

The Army Corps of Engineers received 18 bids for the two-phase construction projects via the internet and will determine the amount of funds and performance locations with each order, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

DoD said the firm-fixed-price contract will run through June 13, 2020.

The awardees are:

• Barlovento
• DMCA
• Global Engineering and Construction
• J&J Worldwide Services
• Kirlin Builders
• The Robins and Morton Group
• United Excel
• Walsh Construction
