Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) and Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) have named 10 directors who will serve on the board of the company that will form out of a planned merger between CSC and HPE’s enterprise services business.
The companies said Friday current CSC President and CEO Mike Lawrie will be chairman while HPE President and CEO Meg Whitman will join as a board member.
Amy Alving, former chief technology officer of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), will also sit on the board of the future information technology services company with $26 billion in projected annual revenues.

Both HPE and CSC approved the appointed directors, who comprise current board members at CSC and HPE-nominated individuals.
They will assume their duties upon the close of the merger, which is subject to CSC stockholder approval.
Lawrie told investors in May 2016 that CSC will consider several options regarding HPE’s U.S. public sector business after the companies finalize the transaction.
“Post-close, all options — and I underscore the word ‘all options’ — would be on the table,” he said.
The future combined company will have its debut on April 3.
The other appointed directors are:
Mukesh Aghi, president of the U.S.-India Business Council
David Herzog, former chief financial officer of AIG
Sachin Lawande, CEO of Visteon
Julio Portalatin, president and CEO of Mercer
Peter Rutland, partner and global co-head of financial services at CVC Capital Partners
Manoj Singh, former chief operating officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu
