According to the Department of Defense, “Booz Allen Hamilton is being awarded a $44, 000, 000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for readiness and metrics support for the fleet readiness enterprise and warfare enterprises. Work will be performed in various locations in the continental United States, and is expected to be completed January 2011. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the fiscal year. This contract was competitively awarded through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online and Federal Business Opportunities websites, with three offers received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N00189-08-D-0022).”
