Belcan, a portfolio company of private investment firm AE Industrial Partners, has purchased The Kemtah Group for an undisclosed amount in a strategy to expand the formers government information technology services business.
Kemtah CEO Steve Wade noted that Belcans cybersecurity and software engineering platforms and services will complement and expand Kemtahs service offerings.
Cincinnati, Ohio-based Belcan provides technical recruiting, IT and engineering support to clients across government, industrial and aerospace sectors.
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Kemtah has provided managed IT, cybersecurity, mobility, software and application development and other IT support services to commercial and government customers since 1987.
PwC served as a financial adviser to Belcan and AE Industrial Partners in the deal, while Bluestone Capital Partners acted as a financial adviser to Kemtah.
Kirkland & Ellis and Miles & Stockbridge respectively served as legal advisers to Belcan and Kemtah.
