Physical Optics Corp. has been awarded a potential five-year, $76 million contract by the U.S. Navy to provide data transfer system components for the UH-1Y, AH-1Z, MH-60R, MH-60S and H-53K aircraft platforms.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday that POC will also deliver Advanced Data Transfer System components to Australia, Denmark and Saudi Arabia through the foreign military sales program.
DoD added the contract also covers test, evaluation, repair and engineering support services and that work will occur in Torrance, California through September 2021.
