All Points Logistics has secured a potential five-year, $165 million contract from NASA to provide a range of information technology support services to the agency’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama and Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana.
NASA said Thursday the MSFC Information Technology Services II contract covers IT planning, policy, service integration, delivery, infrastructure and security support as well as audio-visual information services.
The services are meant to aid the Marshall and Michoud facilities’ efforts to address institutional, program and project objectives for NASA, resident organizations and onsite contractors and commercial tenants, the space agency added.
NASA noted the contract has one base year and four option years and All Points Logistics will commence work on Nov. 1.
Merritt Island, Florida-based All Points is a service-disabled veteran-owned company that offers engineering, technical services, IT support, logistics and program management.
The Marshall Space Flight Center works with various organizations to explore research opportunities in the propulsion, space transportation, launch vehicles, space systems and scientific areas while the Michoud Assembly Facility supports NASA’s exploration and discovery efforts such as the Space Launch System and the Orion spacecraft programs.
