Phil O’Reilly, former chief technology officer for Americas and federal sales at Brocade (Nasdaq: BRCD), has been appointed as vice president of federal sales at the San Jose, California-based data center networking technology provider.
Brocade said Thursday he will oversee the company’s sales and partner ecosystem in the federal civilian, defense and intelligence markets in his new position.
He will report to Jeff Lindholm, Brocade senior vice president of worldwide sales, the company added.
“We’re excited to have Phil lead our federal sales organization to help our customers on their path to network modernization, ” Lindholm said.
O’Reilly joined Brocade in 2010 after he served as senior vice president of Americas sales at Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR)
The more than 30-year industry veteran previously led infrastructure services provider Solunet as chief executive.
