Army Taps General Dynamics, EOIR Technologies for Software Engineering Services


software-engineeringGeneral Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and EOIR Technologies have been awarded contracts worth a combined $49 million to provide software engineering lifecycle support services to the U.S. Army.

The Army Contracting Command will allocate funds and provide work locations to the companies upon issuance of individual task orders, the Defense Department said Monday.

General Dynamics and EOIR Technologies can compete for up to $24.5 million in orders each to help the Army design, code, implement and test software platforms.

The program is scheduled to run through Feb. 2, 2021.
