Barbara Rusinko Appointed Bechtel US Govt Services President, Nuclear Unit EVP

Bechtel has appointed Barbara Rusinko, a three-decade engineering veteran and a former manager at Bechtel, to the role of president for the Reston, Virginia-based infrastructure management services contractor’s U.S. government business and to the rank of executive vice president.

The company said Tuesday Rusinko will oversee the Bechtel National business’ national security and environmental cleanup projects for U.S. government agencies that involve engineering, construction, project management and facility operations services.

Rusinko will also serve as EVP of the company’s nuclear, security and environmental business unit.

œFinding efficiencies and applying commercial practices allows resources to be reinvested in capabilities, facilities, and the workforce.

Rusinko served as manager for corporate engineering, procurement and construction operations at Bechtel prior to this appointment.

Her career at Bechtel includes senior management roles in technical projects for nuclear, environmental, oil and gas activities across Nevada, Washington State, Australia and Thailand.
