Rite-Solutions, a software development and systems engineering company, has secured a cost-plus-fixed fee Small Business Innovation Research Phase III contract from the U.S. Navy to support the service’s next-generation attack submarine program SSN(X) Combat Systems of the Future. The contract includes options that, if exercised, could increase its value to $243.6 million, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Contract Details
Under the deal, Rite-Solutions will provide engineering and technical support for the program.
Work will be performed in Rhode Island, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Washington, D.C. The estimated completion date of the contract is in April 2030.
The Naval Sea Systems Command serves as the contracting activity.
Navy Partnership
Rite-Solutions is also providing the Navy with design, development, testing, analysis, integration, and installation services and technical expertise to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center’s Undersea Warfare Electromagnetic Systems Department. The company received an $88.6 million contract from NUWC Division Newport to work with 13 subcontractors to enhance Imaging and Electromagnetic Warfare systems.
