The Reston, Virginia-based company said Monday the five-year DTRA Integrated Information Technology Support Services, or I3TS, contract aims to enhance DTRA’s IT efficiency, security and mission effectiveness, enabling the agency to counter, prevent and neutralize emerging threats worldwide. Leidos will also guide the DTRA in its efforts to implement a Zero Trust cybersecurity posture.
Leidos will leverage artificial intelligence technologies in modernizing DTRA’s operations. Aside from automating the agency’s operations, the contract is intended to utilize resilient and secure hybrid cloud architecture to reinforce the DTRA’s network environment.
The contract builds upon previous collaborations between Leidos and the Department of Defense’s “Fourth Estate,” a group of agencies and activities that provide vital support to military operations. With the I3TS award, the company gains the opportunity to integrate its innovation and repeatable services across the department.
Bryan Jolly, senior vice president of digital modernization at Leidos, said, “This work expands our long-standing relationship with DTRA and will help raise the bar for our support of their essential mission capabilities. Leidos will seek to empower DTRA with data-driven operations, designed to create a modern, secure and efficient enterprise.”
