Kathy Arcano, a 20-year finance industry veteran, has been selected as the new chief financial officer at Second Front Systems.
The public-benefit software company said Monday Arcano will be responsible for all finance, accounting and procurement activities while collaborating with the executive team to drive growth, enhance operations and facilitate global expansion.
The financial leader will leverage her extensive experience in expanding software-as-a-service and venture-backed enterprises and her deep knowledge of financial planning and analysis, procurement and strategic finance.
Arcano’s Career Highlights
Arcano most recently served as vice president of finance at Flock Safety, where she led the implementation of comprehensive financial management strategies that resulted in multiple funding rounds and the company’s rapid growth. She also spent three years at Greenhouse Software as the director of FP&A, overseeing deliverables for planning and forecasting cycles while managing financial systems interactions and data flows.
The new CFO also served as senior manager of FP&A and accounting at Amazon and FP&A manager of Quidsi, a subsidiary of Amazon. Before that, Arcano spent nearly four years at Allergan as a finance manager. In this role, she consolidated profit and loss statements, calculated earnings per share, and developed tools to integrate Forest International’s business and pipeline products. She was also a senior financial analyst, budgeting and forecasting product sales and marketing expenses.
