Advanced Technology International has acquired Carrot for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to expand its capabilities to coordinate and implement innovative research initiatives.
Driving Research Collaboration Through Incentive-Based Programs
Consortium management firm ATI said Tuesday the transaction will enable it to facilitate competition and collaboration through new programs that integrate Carrot’s use of rewards systems and incentives.
“Given that ATI is uniquely and actively involved in supporting the most critical National security endeavors such as shipbuilding, weapons production, national air defense, critical minerals production, medical preparedness, and energy security, the addition of the Carrot team is going to make us and our model, all the more effective,” said ATI CEO John Jansen.
ATI leverages other transaction authorities and fast-track acquisition pathways to support the U.S. government’s research and development initiatives.
Jaison Morgan, CEO of Carrot Operations, a division of ATI, said joining ATI allows the company to support a wider range of needs through new capabilities and added infrastructure.
“The integration of Carrot into ATI is both a strategic and operational fit, allowing us to advance our combined mission, and we couldn’t be more pleased to work with the leadership and staff at this groundbreaking organization,” Morgan added.
