The executive joins SAS after nearly two years at L3Harris Technologies, where he served as director of business development for special missions. He spent two years at Terran Orbital as VP of growth operations and director of business development before it was acquired by L3Harris in 2024.
Liddle briefly worked at UltiSat as business development director. Prior to that, he was the strategy and business development manager for the space systems sector at L3Harris.
The SAS VP started his private sector career at Harris, which merged with L3 Technologies to form L3Harris. He worked at Harris for over five years, most recently as the strategy and business development manager for space superiority. He served as the responsive ISR solutions program manager and as a systems engineer.
Before joining the industry, Liddle spent over six years with the U.S. Air Force. He has held several leadership roles since joining the Air Force in 1995, including spacecraft processing infrastructure flight commander, chief of mission payload integration and test, and project manager for a couple of programs. He was also an enlisted power production specialist.
