David Merrell Named Senior Account Executive for Federal Sales at LogicMonitor

David Merrell, an experienced solutions sales specialist, shared on LinkedIn Tuesday that he has been appointed senior account executive for federal sales at LogicMonitor

As the newest member of LogicMonitor’s public sector team, Merrell will leverage his vast experience in the information technology and services industry in his new role. He has a strong understanding of public sector and commercial enterprise sales, digital transformation, IT modernization, multi-cloud and hybrid cloud platforms, collaboration tools and customer relationship management.

David Merrell’s Career

Merrell has held leadership roles in sales for various companies. He was most recently the public sector sales and channel alliance manager at Zensai and business development and channel sales director for the public sector at Acquired Data Solutions before that.

The new LogicMonitor executive was also the director of sales and channel alliances for SkySync, Microsoft solution sales specialist at SyCom Technologies and an account executive at VDX.

Merrell had a brief stint at Catapult Systems as a senior account executive after serving as a senior account executive at RDA. He also joined i3solutions in 2009 and worked as the director of business development and channel management. Merrell started his career in 2005 as a business development manager at SpringCM.

Justin Fessler, vice president of public sector at LogicMonitor, welcomed Merrell to the company, saying, “His 20+ years of government experience and relationships with his customers and partners brings a wealth of knowledge to the LM federal team.”
