MTSI Books $625M Air National Guard ARTEMIS Task Order

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. has received a potential $625 million task order from the Air National Guard for program management, research and development and technical support services.

MTSI said Wednesday the ARCWERX Research, Test, Evaluation, Modernization and Innovation Support, or ARTEMIS, task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition for Integrated Services, or OASIS, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Vance Drenkhahn, executive vice president of the defense services division at MTSI, said the company’s team of leaders in Tucson, Arizona, are excited to begin work on the ARTEMIS task order in support of ARCWERX’s mission across air, cyber and space domains.

What Is the ARTEMIS Task Order’s Scope?

Under the task order, MTSI will provide Technical Direction Letter-level management support for the Air National Guard, the Air Force Reserve’s innovation hub and ARCWERX, which stands for the Air National Guard Readiness Center Innovation Office.

MTSI will also provide mission partners within the Department of Defense with engineering and technical support services, including digital engineering, software development and testing, mechanical engineering, aircraft and aerospace systems integration and testing, prototype test article development and limited procurement, mission concepts of operation and special studies to demonstrate and evaluate ground and aerospace capabilities.

The performance period includes a base year that began on Jan. 7, and option years that run through December 2029.
