Leidos’ Dynetics Business Awarded $204M Army Contract for Launcher Assets

Leidos subsidiary Dynetics, a mission-critical services provider offering hypersonics, force protection and other innovative capabilities to government agencies, has received a contract worth $204 million to provide the U.S. Army with missile launch system components and related items. 

Dynetics Contract Details

The Department of Defense said Thursday the firm-fixed-price contract covers the delivery of launcher assets, spares and incidentals to the service branch. Dynetics will perform contract work at its Huntsville, Alabama facility as well as in Chanhassen, Minnesota and Dallastown, Pennsylvania. The project is expected to be completed on Dec. 31, 2026.

The Army Contracting Command in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, as the contracting activity, will allocate an initial amount of $99.9 million from the fiscal 2025 Army procurement appropriation funds.

Dynetics was previously contracted by the Army to develop launcher and interceptor prototypes for a ground-based weapon system.
