A Leonardo DRS business has won a five-year, $417.2 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy for hardware products.
DRS Laurel Technologies will develop, integrate and manufacture hardware for the U.S. and Australian navies and the Foreign Military Sales program under the fixed-price-incentive-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost reimbursable IDIQ, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
More than 80 percent of contract work will be conducted at DRS Laurel Technologies’ Johnstown, Pennsylvania facility, while the remaining activities will be performed in Burnsville, Minnesota; and Largo, Florida.
The Navy will obligate $250,000 from fiscal 2024 other procurement at time of issuing the first task order after contract award. Ordering period runs through July 2029.
