Quantic Electronics, an Arcline Investment Management company, has acquired M-Wave Design, a manufacturer of radio frequency and microwave components for aerospace, defense and quantum computing applications.
Ross Sealfon, CEO of Quantic, said in a statement published Wednesday that the M-Wave product portfolio complements the electronic component company’s product line.
“Additionally, M-Wave’s deep expertise in quantum computing and long history supporting military and space programs further enhances our ability to solve our customers’ difficult design challenges,” Sealfon continued.
M-Wave designs, produces and supplies passive waveguide and coaxial components, which are intended to function even at cryogenic temperatures used in quantum computing applications. The company also supports high power and low loss passive design development.
“As part of Quantic, we are excited to further advance our product, technology, and growth goals to better support our customers,” commented Ken Boswell, CEO of M-Wave Design.
