Lockheed Martin‘s missiles and fire control business (NYSE: LMT) will assess the potential of integrating enabling technologies into a prototype weapon system as part of a U.S. Army award with a $170.2 million ceiling value.
Work under the other transaction authority agreement will occur in Grand Prairie, Texas, and several locations through Feb. 28, 2027, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Other contract work sites are in Orlando, Florida; Bothell, Washington; Mooresville, North Carolina; Jupiter, Florida; Portland, Oregon; Simsbury, Connecticut; Boulder, Colorado; Mukilteo, Washington; Bedford, New Hampshire; Bristol, Pennsylvania; Huntsville, Alabama; and Joplin, Missouri.
The Army obligated $24.9 million from fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of the award.
Redstone Arsenal, Alabama-based Army Contracting Command serves as the contracting activity.
