Epiq Solutions, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital‘s Vantage Fund, has acquired CyberRadio Solutions, a provider of radio frequency hardware, from G3 Technologies in a transaction aimed at expanding the former’s software-defined radio product portfolio.
Rob Diefes, president of CyberRadio, will continue to lead the Mount Airy, Maryland-based company as a subsidiary of Epiq, the Rolling Meadows, Illinois-headquartered SDR platform provider said Friday.
CyberRadio will bring over a decade of expertise in open-architecture, high-performance RF and microwave products to broaden Epiq’s portfolio of small form factor SDR and size, weight and power-optimized platforms designed for government and commercial customers.
John Orlando, CEO and co-founder of Epiq, said CyberRadio’s RF product portfolio “brings a new dimension to Epiq, where exceptional RF performance is a mission enabler.”
Latham & Watkins served as legal counsel to Epiq and Veritas on the transaction.
