Battelle Awarded $350M USSOCOM Contract for Nonstandard Commercial Vehicle Procurement

Battelle has received a potential seven-year, $350 million contract from U.S. Special Operations Command for the acquisition of nonstandard commercial vehicles.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers lifecycle replacement of USSOCOM’s fleet of NSCVs, ancillary vehicle modifications and supply of armament, communications and modification packages, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit applied science and technology development company will provide test support, program management, engineering changes, shipping, parts, driver new equipment training and system technical services under the IDIQ contract.

The command awarded the first delivery order and is obligating $647,357 in funding for program management support.

The contract has a base ordering period of five years and two one-year options that could run through April 3, 2031 if all options are exercised.
