ASRC Federal Wins $500M Navy IPV Generation IV Material Management Support IDIQ

ASRC Federal has won a potential 10-year, $500 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide hardware and material management support for three Navy Fleet Readiness Centers and 13 satellite locations.

DLA Aviation launched a competitive acquisition process for the Navy Industrial Product Support Vendor Generation IV contract, which has a three-year base term, two two-year option periods and another option term of three years, according to an award notice published Friday.

The vendor will specifically support Navy FRCs at three bases: Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina; Naval Air Station Jacksonville in Florida; and Naval Air Station North Island in California.

The Navy IPV GEN IV indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers support for consumable spare parts or bench stock required for programmed depot maintenance work at FRCs and satellite areas.

Under the IDIQ contract, the company will be required to use commercial best practices and source supplies from designated channels to facilitate integrated supply chain management of consumable parts that customers need to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul of various weapons systems and other military equipment, according to a solicitation notice released in February 2023.

Some of the tasks the awardee will perform under the contract are supply chain and material management; bin management; acquisition, receiving, inventory control and delivery of items to the end user; and customer service.
